On April 29, 2023, the renowned TV3 meteorologist presented, at the Montse Civit de Segur de Calafell civic center, the conference "The Sea of the Future, how will the Catalan coast be in 2030?", in which he explains, based -se in the latest scientific studies, which futures our coast presents as a result of Climate Change.
Beyond a catastrophic forecast, with a close and purposeful speech, Tomàs Molina exposes the need to change certain habits of our everyday life and emphasizes the need to move towards a more sustainable life model which, right now, is more possible than ever thanks to the technological advances that have occurred in recent decades.
The day was part of the annual cycle of activities that is organized as part of the celebration of the VI Festa de la Mar de Catalunya, an event that will take place in Calafell between June 8 and 11 and that promotes the Catalan Federation for Culture and Maritime and River Heritage, the Calafell Catalan Patí Vela Latina Association, the Calafell Town Council, the Calafell Municipality and the Provincial Council of Tarragona.
